My investment philosophy

I am a firm believer in Warren Buffet’s two rules for investing. Rule number one; Don’t lose money. Rule number two, refer back to rule number one.

There are several common ways to lose money; inflation, speculation and buying a lemon, opportunity cost. The purpose behind investing is to beat inflation thus protecting your purchasing power, seek the highest return for your level of risk and avoid buying an investment which is really a lemon.
